How to reach Manali from Delhi?

The Volvo buses from Delhi start leaving Delhi at 5 p.m. onwards and reach Manali within 12 hours. Apart from the bus, you can even opt for a private car, but there is no connectivity to train. The car journey is always better than the Bus journey as Bus journey is much more hectic. It stops only twice in the twelve hours journey. And if you are traveling through the car, you will be leaving on the day when you can enjoy all the scenic beauty which you will come across the way. But on the bus, they all will come at midnight.
Moreover, if you travel by car, then you will save a lot of money as well, which you would have otherwise spent on booking taxis. And moreover, when you go by taxis, you will have your freedom to spend as much time as you want to in a spot. And if you are traveling in your own car, then nothing can be better than that. But an essential point to remember about this is that your car won't be allowed at all the places such as Rohtang pass. To visit Rohtang pass, you will need to book a taxi which has been authorized by the Manali taxi Union.
Best time to visit Manali
Manali can be visited throughout the year, depending on what you are looking for.
Monsoon: Monsoon in Manali falls between Julys to mid-September. And during this time, the place experiences heavy rain with frequent landslides.
Winter: Winter in Manali falls between Octobers to February, during which the entire place gets covered in snow. It is one of the best times to experience the life of Manali when the temperature often falls below 0 degrees. You can also find some of the most authentic Himachali winters wear during this time.
Summer: Summer of Manali arrives in March and stays till June. And if you want to experience paragliding, then summer is the best time to visit Manali. Apart from paragliding, many other sports such as rafting and various other mountain sports also take place in this season. And the temperature stays between 10 degrees to 25 degrees, which is suitable for all. And during the summers, snow can only be found in high altitude places.
